Next on to was Empfingen. Although for about 6 generations, the Steimle line were born in Wiesenstetten much took place here. Empfingen is the central city with several villages under it, most 3 to 4 Km in various directions. Before about 1890, the villages were too small for a church and so the only place to attend church and receive church ordinances was here. Here is the church which is in the center of town.

Just outside the church is a watering trough which is still in use.
We enjoy the way they take care of their graves.
Time for diesel. We paid 1.46 Euro per liter.
